Make Rusty Tools New Again!!

This will work on tools that are so rusty they won’t even move!

This poor wrench got left out in the rain! So rusty that it is nearly impossible to use.

You can remove the rust with 20% vinegar.

The easiest and most economical way to soak the rusty tool in vinegar is to pour it into a new heavy-duty ziplock bag.

Roll up the plastic bag tightly around the tool to ensure it is completely soaking in the vinegar solution. You can use a few rubber bands to hold everything in place. Put the wrapped tool in a glass dish in case it leaks.

After soaking overnight the rust is gone! Give it a little scrub with soap and water using a pot scrubber to remove the last bits of gunk. After, be sure to rub it with a few drops of oil to keep it good as new. That way, it will be ready for you when disaster strikes!
